Firehammer & The Forge - Live by Howie Weissman 

In New York - May 28th - This up-tempo 4 piece band presented a show of high quality original material to a full audience at The Bitter End, a club located at 149 Bleeker Street in Manhattan. Presented during the show ranged from the opening "Between Heaven & Hell" to a high-energy rocking "First Impressions", through the ballad "Somewhere In Time". A Firehammer country original song, "Last All Night", was presented for the two country fans in the audience. Comprised of some of the finest musicians from environs local, members of the band include percussionist Casey Chester, On Stand-Up bass - Bob Hart, Lead Guitar provided by Dennis Kimak, and songwriter Mark Firehammer on Rhythm Guitar and vocals. For those of you unfamiliar with Mark Firehammer, I first heard the golden voice a few years ago while traveling through Penn Station. I was returning from a concert somewhere and the sound of his voice echoed through the station and following it to the source, I found one of the most versatile vocalists in the NYC area. In few more years Firehammer & The Forge are bound to appear on VH-1 with some of the best material NY and Florida have to offer.
